Installation

The most recent release can be installed from PyPI with uv:

$ uv pip install biomappings

or with pip:

$ python3 -m pip install biomappings

Installing from git

The most recent code and data can be installed directly from GitHub with uv:

$ uv pip install git+https://github.com/biopragmatics/biomappings.git

or with pip:

$ python3 -m pip install git+https://github.com/biopragmatics/biomappings.git

Installing for development

To install in development mode with uv:

$ git clone git+https://github.com/biopragmatics/biomappings.git
$ cd biomappings
$ uv pip install -e .

or with pip:

$ python3 -m pip install -e .
